Fresh out of cosmetology school, I started my journey in my first salon, where I had the fortune of meeting Kanessa. She recognized something in me that I had yet to discover. She saw an opportunity to grow a great hairdresser from scratch.
Kanessa had ambitious plans to open her own salon, and she invited me to join her once that dream became a reality. Not only did Kanessa bring me into her vision, but she also took me under her wing as a mentor. Her dedication to teaching me the craft of hairdressing went beyond techniques; she instilled in me a profound respect for her three top priorities:

One of the most admirable aspects of Kanessa's mentorship was her commitment to growing and uplifting others. Witnessing her transform clients who had lost hope into individuals who not only looked their best but whose hair was healthier than ever was a constant source of inspiration for me.

Her magnetic personality, love of haircare and professionalism with clients had me sold... I wanted to also embark on the journey to salon ownership and further my education in cosmetology. She's a natural teacher whether in person or her online videos, and keeps the passion going for all of us educators at heart!
